Welcome to Quayside my town by the seaside!

WELCOME TO QUAYSIDE MY TOWN BY THE SEASIDE

Thank you for visiting my blog and thanks even more if you decide to follow :-) I really do enjoying doing it and love to share my projects with you all! In the village at last count I had 18 houses, 14 little roombox size shops, 3 half houses, and 1 half church (half being just a front!) there's also 1 quarter of a house (just half of a front lol) 2 market stalls, 3 market carts and beach huts on the beach although theres always seems to be room for just one more!

I also have a my 1st house a traditional Victorian manor which is very special as it was bought with money left to me by my beloved Nan. There's also my witches house and a witches shop. I also have a lovely Honeychurch house which is my Christmas shop and house and my latest venture a little vintage cottage. But the bulk of my property empire is Quayside, my little Cornish seaside village full of lovely individual cottages and all its wonderful residents. This has become a real labour of love and has turned me from a Dolls house fan into a complete and utter addict! The links below will take you to each of my houses and I especially hope you enjoy your visit to Quayside :-)

Falling back in love with the village!

This past week I have been having a bit of a break from the vintage stuff and getting back into the village! Its great to have both so I can flitter in between whenever I feel like it! I decided to have a go at a little project! I had a space behind the pub and went with a bus shelter. Made from plywood and painted with emulsion mixed with fine sand to give it a textured effect. The roof is sandpaper painted dark grey.

A couple of my WI ladies are waiting for the bus!

I can have some fun with this changing up who is inside!

I finally got round to redecorating my real life bedroom which was the reason for buying Ivy cottage my first vintage house.

It has exactly the look I wanted it couldn't have been more perfect!

I had a little space which was becoming a place to dump things so I decided to move up my Seashell cottage as its my favourite of all my cottages and has all my most treasured things inside! I found the table in the shed and repainted it in a soft green. It was made for it the size was just right!

This all came about because I bought a beautiful new sofa from Jill and it just made me look at the cottage with fresh eyes and remember all the things inside I love! It was a bit lost amongst the village so its nice to have it on its own where now I can see it properly everyday!

Now there is a nice big space in the village which has got me all excited with lots of ideas!

I haven't totally given up on the vintage I still look and buy things that catch my eye! Like this super cute little wooden pram! I almost didn't bid but so glad I did its adorable!

Tiffany looks very cross I think Violet better let her play!
