Lots of new arrivals some in the village and some vintage! I will start today with the village and will do another update with all my new vintage houses tomorrow!
Just new this week is Boathouse cottage which I bought from my lovely friend Deb. Sadly she was selling her collection so owning it is bittersweet but its a fabulous addition to the village and one I have always loved! Of course there is no room so its one in one out and I had to part with a couple of houses to fit new ones in! The small gallery and Rose cottage have gone to a new home with my good friend Carol which freed up some funds and some space!
It looks fabulous all lit up and is a fantastic addition to the village
Boathouse cottage was crying out to be a lovely gallery with those windows so I moved everything straight into it!
Display cabinet with glass animals is so lovely when lit!
Room to add more lovely things as I find them!
Paintings by my brother based on a full size on he did in my real Life house!
Upstairs is a seafood eaterie just waiting for some! Its not easiest thing to find!
Boat shelf I made for Deb came back with the cottage!
2 lovely new arrivals came with the Boathouse! Meet Bill and Maggie! Bill is Bobs brother and lived in the next village but have decided to move to Quayside!
The doctors has moved out of Rose cottage an its now above the shop! it works well here!
I have plenty of stuff to fill the shelves I just need to get round to it!
Needs some more patients! I never seem to have enough dolls even though I have over 100 already!
I decided I wasn't loving the dolls house shop and decided to do a toyshop instead!
Cute Erna Meyer little girl with her dolly!
Kept a few dolls houses of course! the lovely real oil paintings were from Ebay
Love all the teddies and dollies in the cot!
I also treated the villagers to a new bus! Its made from tinplate the same as the car. I just thought it was so much fun!!
My poor ladies have been at the bus stop for an age! At least they are now almost at the shops!
My new bus driver Alex. Well he did need a new job! ;-)
