WELCOME TO QUAYSIDE MY TOWN BY THE SEASIDE

Thank you for visiting my blog and thanks even more if you decide to follow :-) I really do enjoying doing it and love to share my projects with you all! In the village at last count I had 18 houses, 14 little roombox size shops, 3 half houses, and 1 half church (half being just a front!) there's also 1 quarter of a house (just half of a front lol) 2 market stalls, 3 market carts and beach huts on the beach although theres always seems to be room for just one more!

I also have a my 1st house a traditional Victorian manor which is very special as it was bought with money left to me by my beloved Nan. There's also my witches house and a witches shop. I also have a lovely Honeychurch house which is my Christmas shop and house and my latest venture a little vintage cottage. But the bulk of my property empire is Quayside, my little Cornish seaside village full of lovely individual cottages and all its wonderful residents. This has become a real labour of love and has turned me from a Dolls house fan into a complete and utter addict! The links below will take you to each of my houses and I especially hope you enjoy your visit to Quayside :-)

Barnacle cottage holiday apartment to let - book now!

Barnacle cottage gift shop has moved to new premises they moved out today and the refurbishment has already started! its now a holiday apartment decided somewhere to stay was the only thing missing from my village although would love a B & B theres no more building permits for new properties being issued at the moment so a holiday let will have to do! been playing around with it today to see how my £1 stairs would fit in and had a few bits of ply and a piece of wood effect lino so mocked it up to see how it would all fit. OH will take the lino and get me a bit of wood cut the exact size at work tomorrow so was handy to set it all out to see which layout would work best.

Am actually really pleased with how it looks the extra level looks great. The furniture is mostly just there for effect just odd bits I already had! Not sure if I'm loving the kitchen units and was going to try and squeeze a small shower room in under the stairs but I think it may be a bit too busy, might have a go later on though. Think I have decided on getting a modern denim or red check sofa as this apartment will be decorated in all red, white and blues good old british seaside colours! (I think lol although it may change to pastels!) the coffee table was made from a little bag of wood bits from the 10p box in the DH shop and that looks just right! needs a modern low bed which is easy enough to find and maybe a vanity sink so they can at least wash! lots of painting to do and wood staining but you can get an idea of how it will look
