WELCOME TO QUAYSIDE MY TOWN BY THE SEASIDE

Thank you for visiting my blog and thanks even more if you decide to follow :-) I really do enjoying doing it and love to share my projects with you all! In the village at last count I had 18 houses, 14 little roombox size shops, 3 half houses, and 1 half church (half being just a front!) there's also 1 quarter of a house (just half of a front lol) 2 market stalls, 3 market carts and beach huts on the beach although theres always seems to be room for just one more!

I also have a my 1st house a traditional Victorian manor which is very special as it was bought with money left to me by my beloved Nan. There's also my witches house and a witches shop. I also have a lovely Honeychurch house which is my Christmas shop and house and my latest venture a little vintage cottage. But the bulk of my property empire is Quayside, my little Cornish seaside village full of lovely individual cottages and all its wonderful residents. This has become a real labour of love and has turned me from a Dolls house fan into a complete and utter addict! The links below will take you to each of my houses and I especially hope you enjoy your visit to Quayside :-)

Broomstick cottage No 4!! this one is def 'THE ONE'

I have had 4 attempts at finding the right house to be my Broomstick cottage the 1st was Crappot which was too cute the 2nd Blackberry was too posh the 3rd the fairytale one was ok but couldn't fit anything in it so finally I came across this one on Ebay and its totally perfect! It arrived safely yesterday thanks to the nice lady who packed it all up for me she had done a great job but the couriers as usual hadn't exactly been careful with it so the garden had taken a bit of a battering but the house was intact apart from the porch which has already been fixed! It had so many things inside I was in my element unpacking it all I just love all the little things and there were some really wonderful things in it. I have been playing around with it all day lol firstly added a nice orange bulb to light the fire then started putting all the bits in. I have used more or less everything that came with apart from a couple of things I already had that I really wanted to use. It looks great sat with the other houses at 1st glance you don't notice its different til you look a bit closer!

It looks brilliant I just Love it! As you can see the witches supply shop is already open for business and doing a roaring trade. On the left is the spell of the day, along with a selection of hats, brooms, wands, fingers won't even ask where they are from! and any spell you need can be made up on the spot! The villagers know theres something a little bit strange about the rundown house at the end of the village but no one has ever dared try to and find out!!

The outside is my next job need to fix the yard and redo the ivy to decorate the house :-)
