WELCOME TO QUAYSIDE MY TOWN BY THE SEASIDE

Thank you for visiting my blog and thanks even more if you decide to follow :-) I really do enjoying doing it and love to share my projects with you all! In the village at last count I had 18 houses, 14 little roombox size shops, 3 half houses, and 1 half church (half being just a front!) there's also 1 quarter of a house (just half of a front lol) 2 market stalls, 3 market carts and beach huts on the beach although theres always seems to be room for just one more!

I also have a my 1st house a traditional Victorian manor which is very special as it was bought with money left to me by my beloved Nan. There's also my witches house and a witches shop. I also have a lovely Honeychurch house which is my Christmas shop and house and my latest venture a little vintage cottage. But the bulk of my property empire is Quayside, my little Cornish seaside village full of lovely individual cottages and all its wonderful residents. This has become a real labour of love and has turned me from a Dolls house fan into a complete and utter addict! The links below will take you to each of my houses and I especially hope you enjoy your visit to Quayside :-)

Little shabby chic gift shop and a giveaway

I have run out of space in my spare room for any more houses so the only way to go was up!!! I just happened to find a lovely oak shelf in the utility room that had been bought when we moved in and never used. Got me thinking I could have an upper street in Quayside! I asked JULIE BENNETT Quaysides very talented property developer to create a couple of little shops. I wanted them to be just big enough to have some fun with but not too big or heavy so they fit nicely onto the shelf. The first one is ready and number two is just in the planning department. This one was intended to be a fresh fish shop for Fisherman Bob to sell his catch and run by his wife Rose but as usual its far to nice to be something so smelly so its now going to be a little shabby chic gift shop. I have so much fun doing Seashell cottage in this style and have run out of space for all the lovely things I have found and ideas I have so now I will have somewhere for them to go!!

I can't quite believe my blog has had over 10,000 views I'm so chuffed that so many people like to read and see what I am up to in Quayside. To say thanks to everyone for taking the time to be a follower and for all the lovely comments you make I thought I would do a little giveaway. I will make a little something today and post a picture of it tomorrow so please pop back if you would like a little bit of Quaysides seasideness in your Dolls House :-)

  1. Ooh, a little bit of Quaysides seasideness as a prize....I'll definitely be here, front and center for that giveaway, lol.

Your newest property is just too cute! A street (or shelf :P) of Julie's shops would look so cool!

  4. I do love your latest installment - much more interesting than any TV soap.
You have a fabulous flair and its so nice you can share it all on your blog - it would be such a shame if there were no such thing as the web because us followers wouldn't see the latest goings on.
    Terrific.
    I check by everyday
