Welcome to Quayside my town by the seaside!

Thank you for visiting my blog and thanks even more if you decide to follow :-) I really do enjoying doing it and love to share my projects with you all! In the village at last count I had 18 houses, 14 little roombox size shops, 3 half houses, and 1 half church (half being just a front!) there's also 1 quarter of a house (just half of a front lol) 2 market stalls, 3 market carts and beach huts on the beach although theres always seems to be room for just one more!

I also have a my 1st house a traditional Victorian manor which is very special as it was bought with money left to me by my beloved Nan. There's also my witches house and a witches shop. I also have a lovely Honeychurch house which is my Christmas shop and house and my latest venture a little vintage cottage. But the bulk of my property empire is Quayside, my little Cornish seaside village full of lovely individual cottages and all its wonderful residents. This has become a real labour of love and has turned me from a Dolls house fan into a complete and utter addict! The links below will take you to each of my houses and I especially hope you enjoy your visit to Quayside :-)

Seashells and signs!

Been a very chilled out day in Dollyland today. My daughter is off school and I love when she comes and lays on the bed chatting to me while I work. So I decided to take advantage of her of course and her talent at making me lovely signs. She has made me a new one for Barnacle, which she hates as its a weird shape and never prints off right and prob the fact its the 3rd time shes done it as I keep changing the ground floor! She also made me some more for Wishes and Dishes as it was looking a little bare, and a little one for Babs above the door, you can also see my fabulous new Butterfly Cottage plaque!

Whilst she was busy doing them I decided to dress the porch of Seashell Cottage a little as it has such a lot of space to play with. I made the shell mobile and seat cushions and added some display shells, pots of herbs and a hanging basket. Its amazing how much fun you can have with even the smallest of places!

  1. The porch looks fantastic now - I love the shell mobile - the whole cottage looks very 'lived in'!

  2. The porch looks brilliant, love the shell mobile and all the little bits and pieces. It certainly looks very welcoming! Love all Bethany's signs again, they are fantastic as usual.

  3. The signs are great!
I loved the facade of Seashell Cottage! Amazing!
