Welcome to Quayside my town by the seaside!

WELCOME TO QUAYSIDE MY TOWN BY THE SEASIDE

Thank you for visiting my blog and thanks even more if you decide to follow :-) I really do enjoying doing it and love to share my projects with you all! In the village at last count I had 18 houses, 14 little roombox size shops, 3 half houses, and 1 half church (half being just a front!) there's also 1 quarter of a house (just half of a front lol) 2 market stalls, 3 market carts and beach huts on the beach although theres always seems to be room for just one more!

I also have a my 1st house a traditional Victorian manor which is very special as it was bought with money left to me by my beloved Nan. There's also my witches house and a witches shop. I also have a lovely Honeychurch house which is my Christmas shop and house and my latest venture a little vintage cottage. But the bulk of my property empire is Quayside, my little Cornish seaside village full of lovely individual cottages and all its wonderful residents. This has become a real labour of love and has turned me from a Dolls house fan into a complete and utter addict! The links below will take you to each of my houses and I especially hope you enjoy your visit to Quayside :-)

All lit up!!! and doggies who don't want to miss out!

Its taken a whole day pretty much but finally have all my lights connected up! Lindsay moved the shelf down for me and he never complained once lol! Had to fill and paint the old holes and fill and paint around the brackets as the fixings need a big hole and it was just slightly wider than the bracket. Stained my shelves too so that's another job done! Once I had finished all the boring stuff I could finally start getting everything connected up. It almost went to plan apart from one dodgy extension lead which blew a couple of fuses and did I have any...nope!! remembered I had some in the Victorian house and the witches cottage front so have stolen those for now. Then once everything was finally lit a bulb went in the new blue cottage so changed that crossing my fingers it was only a bulb but it was!

It seems to have taken forever to get it all sorted but now I will finally be able to start making some bits and pieces again, at my new desk!! :-)

Here is Quayside all lit up!

I took some more photos now it all is laid out properly and connected up. I think if gives a better perspective on the U-shape they are displayed in. They didn't look so bad spread out upstairs but together it does look a lot lol! It really feels like a village now! Just need to get the curtain done and then I've got to decide what to do with the mdf whether to paint it or not, whatever I decide its going to be a big job!

I love that there's now enough space on the shelf to add some interest in between the shops!

Couldn't resist a few photos of my doggies. They are a nightmare! We were in Dollyland so that meant they all had to be in Dollyland ha ha!!

Maya and Sandy got the beanbags......

 Snoopy got the chair!

Maya is always there when I am in there shes my little cuddly lump of fluffiness although she had a haircut this week so not quite as fluffy!
