WELCOME TO QUAYSIDE MY TOWN BY THE SEASIDE

Thank you for visiting my blog and thanks even more if you decide to follow :-) I really do enjoying doing it and love to share my projects with you all! In the village at last count I had 18 houses, 14 little roombox size shops, 3 half houses, and 1 half church (half being just a front!) there's also 1 quarter of a house (just half of a front lol) 2 market stalls, 3 market carts and beach huts on the beach although theres always seems to be room for just one more!

I also have a my 1st house a traditional Victorian manor which is very special as it was bought with money left to me by my beloved Nan. There's also my witches house and a witches shop. I also have a lovely Honeychurch house which is my Christmas shop and house and my latest venture a little vintage cottage. But the bulk of my property empire is Quayside, my little Cornish seaside village full of lovely individual cottages and all its wonderful residents. This has become a real labour of love and has turned me from a Dolls house fan into a complete and utter addict! The links below will take you to each of my houses and I especially hope you enjoy your visit to Quayside :-)

Welcome to Quayside! My new Dollyland!

Well I finally have my room almost how I want it lol!!! The layout is right after much deliberation and stress! The only thing I need to do now is get some fabric to make a curtain to go all the way round to hide all the odd drawers and the shelf is a little too high so my OH is going to lower that for me tomorrow.

I am thrilled with it now and can't wait to enjoy it over the winter and with all the new projects I shall have lots to keep me busy!!

I kept the lovely tapestry tub chair in there as Bethany quite often will sit and chat to me. Its one of my favourite things and was a bootsale bargain at £10

It worked out that most of the taller ones that need to open are on the side wall so I don't need so much space below the shelf.

The houses across the back still need wired up as do the little shops but will wait til the shelf has moved first.

My new little shops arrived today and they are just fabulous I love them all! Ended up with one extra from my friend Carol who was selling hers so now the shelf looks lovely and full!!

I've added a few pictures and a little boat mobile I already had.

Theres a great little space in front of Lavender cottage where I am going to make a harbour so Bob has somewhere to moor his boat!

Love that I now have a proper desk to work out it will be heaven! The pig was another bootsale bargain for £4.00  I just liked it lol!

Its also a bright and sunny room with a nice big window.

I love my new room all the blood sweat and tears were worth it!! :-)
