Welcome to Quayside my town by the seaside!

WELCOME TO QUAYSIDE MY TOWN BY THE SEASIDE

Thank you for visiting my blog and thanks even more if you decide to follow :-) I really do enjoying doing it and love to share my projects with you all! In the village at last count I had 18 houses, 14 little roombox size shops, 3 half houses, and 1 half church (half being just a front!) there's also 1 quarter of a house (just half of a front lol) 2 market stalls, 3 market carts and beach huts on the beach although theres always seems to be room for just one more!

I also have a my 1st house a traditional Victorian manor which is very special as it was bought with money left to me by my beloved Nan. There's also my witches house and a witches shop. I also have a lovely Honeychurch house which is my Christmas shop and house and my latest venture a little vintage cottage. But the bulk of my property empire is Quayside, my little Cornish seaside village full of lovely individual cottages and all its wonderful residents. This has become a real labour of love and has turned me from a Dolls house fan into a complete and utter addict! The links below will take you to each of my houses and I especially hope you enjoy your visit to Quayside :-)

I made another doll!...Meet Harry my new fisherman!

Decided to have another go at making a doll last night! So this is Harry my new fisherman!!! Here is how he started out! Just some fimo a cork and some pipecleaners! I really need to get some proper wire but the furry pipe cleaners work quite well and they provide some padding. I just double them up so they are stronger. Need to get my other half on the wine more often as the cork is a great body lol its just the right size!  he took me about 3 hours last night and at one point I got stroppy and scrunched all the clay up and had to start again! But I'm pleased at how he turned out.

And here he is all painted and bearded with his clothes on!! Have to say a huge thanks to Deb who knits the jumpers and hats as they are just fab!!!!

I'm still not so good at the eyes yet, I def need more practice but he looks friendly and human so thats a start lol!!

Bobs dog Barney seems to like him so thats a good sign!

This is a little dark but I love the table showing in the background in Lavender Cottage.

All he needs now is a fishing rod with a nice big fish on it so that will be todays project!!!
