WELCOME TO QUAYSIDE MY TOWN BY THE SEASIDE

Thank you for visiting my blog and thanks even more if you decide to follow :-) I really do enjoying doing it and love to share my projects with you all! In the village at last count I had 18 houses, 14 little roombox size shops, 3 half houses, and 1 half church (half being just a front!) there's also 1 quarter of a house (just half of a front lol) 2 market stalls, 3 market carts and beach huts on the beach although theres always seems to be room for just one more!

I also have a my 1st house a traditional Victorian manor which is very special as it was bought with money left to me by my beloved Nan. There's also my witches house and a witches shop. I also have a lovely Honeychurch house which is my Christmas shop and house and my latest venture a little vintage cottage. But the bulk of my property empire is Quayside, my little Cornish seaside village full of lovely individual cottages and all its wonderful residents. This has become a real labour of love and has turned me from a Dolls house fan into a complete and utter addict! The links below will take you to each of my houses and I especially hope you enjoy your visit to Quayside :-)

Getting the party started and another shelf!

Well Bethany is back after a nice weekend with her friends and after stealing my camera she never even used it!! Couldn't wait to get it back and show you all the things I have done over the past couple of days!

I finished of the mobile disco on Friday and yesterday decided to do a stage for it to sit on. I had in my head it should have velvet curtains but I didn't have any suitable fabric. So yesterday  it was off round the charity shops on the lookout for an old cushions cover or something similar. I ended up with a pillow case for 50p which was perfect and the fabric was that bit thinner so hung down better. I cut a couple of bits of wood, one for the base of the stage and one to hang the curtains from. I painted the top one black and made a hole to thread the lights through. I had a funky red light which really lights the stage up well and with a few coloured fairy lights it looks much more like a disco!

Timmy is having a run through and checking everything works ok in preparation for the grand opening Halloween party!

Really pleased with how Timmy's Tunes mobile disco turned out. You would never know it used to be a mahogany sink unit lol!

I also have a nice new kitchen in the village hall. It was a bit of a bargain from Ebay and I am really pleased with it. It needs lots of things adding to fill it up as its far to bare for me at the mo lol!!

Lindsay also put my new shelf up for me not one of his favourite jobs lol!!! I didn't go for anything too big as I just wanted a little area to put the market on. I still need to redo 2 of the barrows but you can get the idea! Of course by adding that its given me a nice little space for just one more shop so watch this space!! :-)
