Welcome to Quayside my town by the seaside!

WELCOME TO QUAYSIDE MY TOWN BY THE SEASIDE

Thank you for visiting my blog and thanks even more if you decide to follow :-) I really do enjoying doing it and love to share my projects with you all! In the village at last count I had 18 houses, 14 little roombox size shops, 3 half houses, and 1 half church (half being just a front!) there's also 1 quarter of a house (just half of a front lol) 2 market stalls, 3 market carts and beach huts on the beach although theres always seems to be room for just one more!

I also have a my 1st house a traditional Victorian manor which is very special as it was bought with money left to me by my beloved Nan. There's also my witches house and a witches shop. I also have a lovely Honeychurch house which is my Christmas shop and house and my latest venture a little vintage cottage. But the bulk of my property empire is Quayside, my little Cornish seaside village full of lovely individual cottages and all its wonderful residents. This has become a real labour of love and has turned me from a Dolls house fan into a complete and utter addict! The links below will take you to each of my houses and I especially hope you enjoy your visit to Quayside :-)

Lifeboat cottage sign

Not much to show you today as Bethany has gone up to the caravan with her friends for a girly weekend and shes stolen my camera! So all I have are a few photos I took yesterday!

As you know Lifeboat Cottage is my newest property but it needed a name plague. Of course I had to ask Julie Lawton who has made all my others and it arrived yesterday. Its a little different to my others as its square but its quite fabulous and looks perfect on the building.

I have also been busy getting the party ready in the village hall. I decided I needed a mobile disco and couldn't think what I could use to make it. I then found an old sink my friend Scarlett had given me and looking at it I thought I could maybe do something with that!

Last night I took the sink part out and added a wooden top. removed all the drawers and the door. I then gave it a coat of black acrylic paint although I didn't notice all the bits I'd missed til I saw the photo lol have now touched these bits in! I gave the top part a coat of silver paint. It looks a bit rubbish here lol but the end result is very different! I've now finished it all off but sadly can't show you as no camera but will get some pics up soon! really pleased with it how it turned out and with Timmy spinning his tunes the villagers are going to have a rocking Halloween party!!
