Welcome to Quayside my town by the seaside!

WELCOME TO QUAYSIDE MY TOWN BY THE SEASIDE

Thank you for visiting my blog and thanks even more if you decide to follow :-) I really do enjoying doing it and love to share my projects with you all! In the village at last count I had 18 houses, 14 little roombox size shops, 3 half houses, and 1 half church (half being just a front!) there's also 1 quarter of a house (just half of a front lol) 2 market stalls, 3 market carts and beach huts on the beach although theres always seems to be room for just one more!

I also have a my 1st house a traditional Victorian manor which is very special as it was bought with money left to me by my beloved Nan. There's also my witches house and a witches shop. I also have a lovely Honeychurch house which is my Christmas shop and house and my latest venture a little vintage cottage. But the bulk of my property empire is Quayside, my little Cornish seaside village full of lovely individual cottages and all its wonderful residents. This has become a real labour of love and has turned me from a Dolls house fan into a complete and utter addict! The links below will take you to each of my houses and I especially hope you enjoy your visit to Quayside :-)

Dorothys new shoes and the Doctors surgery

My gorgeous little Dorothy doll I won last week on Eby arrived today! She is so cute I love her! here she is with her newly glittered shoes! Toto is so cute I thought it would just be a naff resin type one but hes a proper little felt dog and he is super cute!!

Haven't done much mini stuff for the past few days so decided today I would do my jobs this morning and have an afternoon in Dollyland! My lovely Lees Lines armchair also arrived from America today which was really quick! Its a lovely lemon and blue colour and looks perfect in the window!

I also decided to do a little bit to the new doctors surgery. I added a small diving wall from balsa wood although theres not much privacy in this surgery lol I could make it any taller or the roof wouldn't shut!

I made an examination bed from and old bed I had dismantled to make the shelving in the pub! I just chopped the base with the mattress stuck on in half and covered it with a leather style fabric. It has to be something that would wipe clean so thought it would do the job. I added the legs and then made a cover and pillow from a cotton placemat I bought ages ago to make the bed in Seashell that were only a £1 for 4 in Poundland. It just needs a curtain for a little privacy!

Doctor Richard now just needs a desk and some equipment and he will be ready for business!

Mags has taken delivery of the new waiting room chairs and is busy filling up the supplies cupboard. She also needs a desk and think I will have a go at making that as she needs a L shaped one I think!

  1. Brilliant as usual! Your enthusiasm shows right through, I love the way you take it all so seriously, getting lost in your gorgeous little village! The bed looks good and I love your purchases, the chair is perfect in the window. Gill x
