Welcome to Quayside my town by the seaside!

WELCOME TO QUAYSIDE MY TOWN BY THE SEASIDE

Thank you for visiting my blog and thanks even more if you decide to follow :-) I really do enjoying doing it and love to share my projects with you all! In the village at last count I had 18 houses, 14 little roombox size shops, 3 half houses, and 1 half church (half being just a front!) there's also 1 quarter of a house (just half of a front lol) 2 market stalls, 3 market carts and beach huts on the beach although theres always seems to be room for just one more!

I also have a my 1st house a traditional Victorian manor which is very special as it was bought with money left to me by my beloved Nan. There's also my witches house and a witches shop. I also have a lovely Honeychurch house which is my Christmas shop and house and my latest venture a little vintage cottage. But the bulk of my property empire is Quayside, my little Cornish seaside village full of lovely individual cottages and all its wonderful residents. This has become a real labour of love and has turned me from a Dolls house fan into a complete and utter addict! The links below will take you to each of my houses and I especially hope you enjoy your visit to Quayside :-)

Its beginning to feel a lot like Christmas!!

Not much mini-ing this weekend as we have been putting up the decorations in the real house! We have quite a lot plus outside ones so it takes a while....4 days to be exact!! We have also had some snow the past few days which has def helped with the Christmas atmosphere. Thought I would share a few photos I took this morning :-)

This is our big 7ft tree in the lounge which is all silver and lilac. You can just see my Fairbanks which had to stay as it was too big to take it out of the room lol!

My fireplace with a lovely knitted garland made by my fab friend Deb of course!!

This tree is at the top of the stairs on the landing. Its my favourite as I love all the traditional colours!

I love this little set I bought after Christmas one year very cheap! Its a little bakery and its made from a wood effect resin the same as my Wizard of Oz figures and its one of my favourite decorations!

This is the snug with its blue and white themed tree and snowflake lights. We have some form of light in every window so it looks nice from the outside.

We even have lights down the hall lol If you look right to the bottom you can just the tree thats at the top of the stairs!

We had quite a bit of snow yesterday and this morning. Heres Finky braving the cold!

Poor Snoopy had a hair cut on Friday so hes feeling the cold!

The view from the upstairs window.

Warming up! Sandy and Finky snuggled up on the burger beanbag thats not really big enough for 2!!!!!
