WELCOME TO QUAYSIDE MY TOWN BY THE SEASIDE

Thank you for visiting my blog and thanks even more if you decide to follow :-) I really do enjoying doing it and love to share my projects with you all! In the village at last count I had 18 houses, 14 little roombox size shops, 3 half houses, and 1 half church (half being just a front!) there's also 1 quarter of a house (just half of a front lol) 2 market stalls, 3 market carts and beach huts on the beach although theres always seems to be room for just one more!

I also have a my 1st house a traditional Victorian manor which is very special as it was bought with money left to me by my beloved Nan. There's also my witches house and a witches shop. I also have a lovely Honeychurch house which is my Christmas shop and house and my latest venture a little vintage cottage. But the bulk of my property empire is Quayside, my little Cornish seaside village full of lovely individual cottages and all its wonderful residents. This has become a real labour of love and has turned me from a Dolls house fan into a complete and utter addict! The links below will take you to each of my houses and I especially hope you enjoy your visit to Quayside :-)

Chippie mark 3! Suncream and a cot!

The more I looked at the fish and chip shop the more I wasn't happy with it! The awning sat too high and was making it look out of proportion. So I took it all off and did it again with a slight overhang and fixed it back on a bit lower. It looked even worse you couldn't see Bethanys fab sign so it was back to the drawing board!

My 3rd attempt was more successful. I made it a little smaller and added the lace trim to make it a little more finished looking. I then stuck it below the sign which seemed to work better. Bethany then did another sign to go at the top to fill the space. The overall effect is so much better now I am happy with it!

I made some bottles for the window sill and a little box to put them in. Will get some fencing done tomorrow to finish it off.

I also made some little suncream bottle for a little stand I had got with some Barbie stuff. It was the one thing the Harbour hut was missing and I think they look just the part!

I received this lovely little cot today from the lady who bought my beach hut. Bethany had made her sign and to say thanks she sent me this. I'm so pleased with it, it looks lovely in the shop so thanks very much Carol :-)
