Welcome to Quayside my town by the seaside!

WELCOME TO QUAYSIDE MY TOWN BY THE SEASIDE

Thank you for visiting my blog and thanks even more if you decide to follow :-) I really do enjoying doing it and love to share my projects with you all! In the village at last count I had 18 houses, 14 little roombox size shops, 3 half houses, and 1 half church (half being just a front!) there's also 1 quarter of a house (just half of a front lol) 2 market stalls, 3 market carts and beach huts on the beach although theres always seems to be room for just one more!

I also have a my 1st house a traditional Victorian manor which is very special as it was bought with money left to me by my beloved Nan. There's also my witches house and a witches shop. I also have a lovely Honeychurch house which is my Christmas shop and house and my latest venture a little vintage cottage. But the bulk of my property empire is Quayside, my little Cornish seaside village full of lovely individual cottages and all its wonderful residents. This has become a real labour of love and has turned me from a Dolls house fan into a complete and utter addict! The links below will take you to each of my houses and I especially hope you enjoy your visit to Quayside :-)

I hate lights but I love my wool shop!

Been having a good play in the village today! I had lots of unfinished jobs and needed to sort out some of the lights......God I hate dolls house lights more than anything!!!! I have been balanced on a chair with no idea how many extension leads running along the back of the shops lol then one blew the fuse the air was not blue at all at that point! my OH came running cos I just screamed out I HATE DOLLS HOUSE LIGHTS :-D anyway they are now all working even the lantern ones which were a pain as one bulb has gone so I have had to attach them the wrong way round to hide the dead bulb so now you have to unplug them when you open it. A bit of a pain but better than a dead bulb showing. Anyway lights aside I have almost finished the Christmas shop and I just love it! Just waiting on Bethany making me a sign and my lovely friend Deb is making me a little wall hanging Christmas patchwork for the side wall so I will hang on just a bit longer before I show you! I did rearrange all the shops though so you can get a little look of it from the outside!

I also filled my wool unit up with all the balls I made last week. I even had enough left over to fill the special order box so that was great! I changed the mannequin to a pine one as I managed to get one at the DH shop last week. I moved the stripey set to the window for now til its bit nearer to Christmas. I put a lovely little pink cardy also by the very talented Deb onto the mannequin. Its such a sweet little shop I really love it! I just need something for the wall on the right as theres a nice space to fill with something!
