Welcome to Quayside my town by the seaside!

WELCOME TO QUAYSIDE MY TOWN BY THE SEASIDE

Thank you for visiting my blog and thanks even more if you decide to follow :-) I really do enjoying doing it and love to share my projects with you all! In the village at last count I had 18 houses, 14 little roombox size shops, 3 half houses, and 1 half church (half being just a front!) there's also 1 quarter of a house (just half of a front lol) 2 market stalls, 3 market carts and beach huts on the beach although theres always seems to be room for just one more!

I also have a my 1st house a traditional Victorian manor which is very special as it was bought with money left to me by my beloved Nan. There's also my witches house and a witches shop. I also have a lovely Honeychurch house which is my Christmas shop and house and my latest venture a little vintage cottage. But the bulk of my property empire is Quayside, my little Cornish seaside village full of lovely individual cottages and all its wonderful residents. This has become a real labour of love and has turned me from a Dolls house fan into a complete and utter addict! The links below will take you to each of my houses and I especially hope you enjoy your visit to Quayside :-)

Playing with handbags and having a general fiddle about!

I don't have much to do in Dollyland at the mo and was bored today as the weather was miserable so  decided to just sit and have a stare and see if I could get inspired to make something! Decided eventually that I could do something with the vintage clothing shop as it was not showing off its stock to its best ability! I just love the bags and they were hidden at the back so decided to have a change around!

I made a little changing room in the corner behind the till as people def needed somewhere to try things on!

I rearranged the handbag display and added my 2 favourite pairs of shoes. The brown ones were on a doll from a boot sale and the blue ones were from America but they were perfect so I had to have them!

I made a front hanging display area for the clothes rather than the rail that was there before. I can fit loads more onto it now and it shows it all off much better.

I filled the counter with a bit more stock and made a little shelf above the dressing table for a few pairs of shoes.

It really doesn't photo well this shop lol it looks much better in the flesh its a real fun little shop!! Most things in here are either Bratz or Barbie sometimes you can find things the perfect size for Dolls Houses!

I also had a little change around in the nursery shop as some of the more lovely pieces were a bit hidden so just moved things around a little and added the pictures on the wall. I adore this shop some of my most favourite ever things are in here!

  4. Hi Paula, Just found your blog and so many lovely things to see, the nursery is one of my favourites too. I notice a cheeky cocker or two in your family, I know ours is naughty, a nightmare when he was a pup, but 12 years old now and a little better behaved, except for barking.
